A process in which the registry of the insurance company established in the state, Gulf and Takaful, and the foreign insurance company licensed to conduct activity in the state is renewed, either by branch or by an insurance agent

1.Electronically submit the application on the system, by user name and password. In the event that the user is new he shall send an email letter requesting a user name and password
2. Complete the service form and upload it along with the documents in the electronic system
3. The completed application is reviewed and approved
4. The technical staff (key employees) shall be interviewed in the Authority’s headquarters
5. Pay the fees through e-services or through a smartphone application. In case the applicant is applying in person: Payment can be made through the electronic screen at the Customer Service Center in the Authority; and in case of a system breakdown: Payment can be made by e-Dirham or credit card at the Authority
6. The customer prints the Registration Certificate

Service Fees:
Fee for annotation of data amendment in the Insurance Companies Register: AED 3,000 at the time of extract printout
Late fine of AED 500 for each month calculated after 15 days from the date of the real change subject to a maximum of AED 5,000 for each year. Any part of a month shall be calculated as full month

A true copy of the documents supporting the annotation data duly certified and translated into Arabic and the translation must be certified by the Ministry of Justice

To change the capital: Ministerial Resolution, General Assembly meeting on the capital increase.

To change the deposit: the original certificate of the new deposit sent by the bank to the Authority

To change the name of the company: Addendum to Amend the Memorandum of Association, Ministerial Resolution, amendment of the Articles of Association and a 30-day announcement

To change the general manager: the conditions are as set out in Article 26 of the Executive Regulations of the Federal Law No. 6 of 2007 concerning the Establishment of the Insurance Authority and Organization of the Insurance Operations
