Request to amend the data of an insurance agent (individuals) in the register

A process in which the registry of the insurance company established in the state, Gulf and Takaful, and the foreign insurance company licensed to conduct activity in the state is renewed, either by branch or by an insurance agent

1.Electronically submit the application on the system, by user name and password. In the event that the user is new he shall send an email letter requesting a user name and password

2. Complete the service form and upload it along with the documents in the electronic system

3. The completed application is reviewed and approved

4. The technical staff (key employees) shall be interviewed in the Authority’s headquarters

5. Pay the fees through e-services or through a smartphone application. In case the applicant is applying in person: Payment can be made through the electronic screen at the Customer Service Center in the Authority; and in case of a system breakdown: Payment can be made by e-Dirham or credit card at the Authority

6. The customer prints the Registration Certificate

 

Service Fees:

Fee for the annotation of the data amendment in the Insurance Agents Register: AED 3,000 at the time of extract printout.

Late Annotation Fees: a fine of AED 300 for each month subject to a maximum of AED 3,000 for each year. Any part of a month shall be calculated as full month.

Attachments Required

  1. A true copy of the documents supporting the indication data provided that they are duly certified and translated into Arabic with the translation certified by the Ministry of Justice

  2. In changing the address the new lease

  3. In changing the capital, an annex to the founding contract for the capital increase

  4. In changing the partners of an annex to the founding contract, a certificate of good conduct and behavior for new partners, a copy of the identity, a summary of registration for all partners, a declaration of non-bankruptcy, a one-month declaration

  5. In changing the company name, supplement to amend the articles of association, a one-month declaration, approve the certificate if necessary, deliver the certificate

  6. In changing the general manager and key employees, presenting all certificates and experiences as mentioned in the law.
